  16. SYMPTOMS

  19. If you press CTRL+C during the operation of the PORTUAS program, user
  20. modals, such as the minimum password length and the password history,
  21. are not changed to their final values.
  22.  
  23. CAUSE
  24. =====

  26. PORTUAS sets all user modals to temporary values initially. When it
  27. finishes, it assigns them final values. If you press CTRL+C, it keeps
  28. the temporary values.

  30. STATUS

  33. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
  34. Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
  35. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. For
  36. information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in
  37. the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
